Eden Crowne is an award-winning American author of occult thrillers and paranormal romance from California. In her other life and under another name, she was an international journalist based in Asia writing for major media from Wired magazine and Business 2.0, to CBS Marketwatch, CNN Travel, and many more. Her focus was emerging technology, marketing, pop culture, business trends, and travel. She calls Tokyo and Los Angeles home. As an author, she has written several successful, award-winning occult thrillers and paranormal mystery series. Her thriller, Cursed Objects, was a Finalist in the American Writer’s Awards. Infernal Revenue: The Afterlife has a Balance Sheet brought her a Gold from Bookfest and First Place in the Magical Realism category at the Firebird Book Awards. The first book in her A Girl’s Guide To Voodoo Bounty Hunting series, The Fast and Furriest, was awarded a Bronze from Book Fest in the Fantasy Category. Eden’s Dust to Dust paranormal romance series has been featured in USA Today. And her newest book, Cursed Objects, written up in USA News, the New York Telegraph, Women’s Week, and WomensInsider.
Eden weaves her characters into a modern landscape – generally Los Angeles and California’s Central Coast – preferring Urban Fantasy and Magical Realism to High Fantasy. This may be because there is no espresso in high fantasy and, like her, Eden’s characters love the bitter brew.
Eden is devoted to museums of every kind, looking to them for inspiration, ideas, and a much-needed balm for this wild world we live in.
